Hi, I’m Jill!

I am the girl behind the lens at Jill Sarchet Photography. I’m so honored you are considering me for a photo shoot. I know how difficult it can be to pick a photographer who you feel comfortable with, especially for something as intimate as boudoir. If there is anything you would like to know about me you do not learn here, please reach out! I’m happy to chat on the phone or meet with you in person to help you decide if we are a good fit.

Photography has been a life-long passion of mine and I have finally found my calling with the art of boudoir.  When most people hear that word, they think of sexy pictures of women in their underwear but it is so much more. No matter where you are in your life journey, I promise there is a style of boudoir perfect for the story you want to tell. My job is to help you find it and bring it to life. Meet My Family

Twenty years ago, I was graduating college and had an internship opportunity in Honolulu. My boyfriend, now husband, and I had been dating for less than a year. When I asked him if he wanted to come to Hawaii with me, he didn’t have to think about it for too long. We arrived with only two bags each, knowing there was a good chance we wouldn’t leave, and we didn’t! We have come a long way and have worked hard for the life we live today, thankful every day that we get to share it with our three beautiful children and fur babies too!

10 Things About Me...

  1. I was born and raised in Colorado, Go Broncos!
  2. I got married on a sandbar at low tide in the middle of Kaneohe Bay, Oahu.
  3. I’ve been SCUBA diving in 5 different countries.
  4. We were blessed with twin boys after a long struggle with infertility.
  5. I cannot stand cilantro even though I love Mexican food.
  6. I write lots and lots and lots of lists. I write lists about what kind of lists I should make.
  7. I prefer staying in to watch a movie over a night on the town.
  8. I’m allergic to cats but have always had them (Maine Coons are the best!).
  9. I’d rather go on a 6 mile hike than lounge at the pool all day.
  10. I am a perfectionist, but learning to let go.
